Bullish on Downtown Tempe, a Las Vegas investor is moving forward with plans for building the city’s largest convention center, part of the 1.2 million-square foot M7 development on the southeast corner of Mill Avenue and Seventh Street. The development also will include a 200-foot tall hotel and two 300-foot-tall condo towers. Tempe Convention and Visitors’ Bureau as well as city officials welcome the conference center, in part based on a recent study that called for 85,000 to 1000,00 square feet of additional conference space. Proximity to ASU, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the Metro light-rail line also bolster the need for additional hotel and conference space that M7 will provide. The conference center is expected to break ground early next year.

Abby Lane blends with Downtown Tempe’s Historic Mill Avenue - shades of red brick, green accents, and wood siding. What once was an old farm house and agriculture, Abby Lane offers housing choices for students and professionals alike in an urban setting. Inspired from the brownstone concept of many East coast cities, the entrance to the units are through a raised front porch. From this entry you’re greeted by the kitchen overlooked by the living room one half level up. Then travel down to your own private game room, studio, or guest bedroom in a partial basement, or head upstairs to the dual master suite level.
